Looking back on the first ever worldwide Multiplayer event in Samurai Siege history puts a smile on my face. I can't help it. I wasn't part of the winning alliance. I didn't achieve anything great personally. But I did enjoy my time participating and also watching the leaderboard, and that's what playing this social game is all about... being part of a community and having fun. This event provided motivation to fire up the SS app beyond our personal desires or even our alliance needs, and truly felt like a global event.
First and foremost, congratulations to Quantum's Web on an extremely well-deserved victory. The teamwork, strategy, planning, and dedication you all showed was awe-inspiring to say the least. Instead of worrying about what others were doing or public perception, you all buckled down and took care of business. I can't express how much I respect that, and I can honestly say I am proud to see your flag on the world map because you represented what is great about this game.
Coming in a close second is a thank you to Space Ape. On its own "Save the Season" was a fantastic event, full of drama and achievements great and small, but considering this was the first event of its kind and you are still a new game... well bravo. You have much to be proud of and I'm already looking forward to the next event.
On a personal note, I would like to congratulate Legion of Jedi for cracking the 100,000 team Honor mark during the event. It's not nearly as important as what QW and SA accomplished, thus you will not see it on the news feed, but 100k team Honor is still a magnificent feat and worth noting for the history books.
